Paris to Monaco Gourmet Rally

RR1-Paris-Monaco-Rally

French cuisine is as legendary as English tailoring and Italian design; classic cars are easily the most romantic vehicles in which to make a lengthy road trip.

So it’s difficult to think of a more enticing road-trip, for gourmands who also appreciate stunning automobiles, than the 1,000-kilometer drive from Paris to the French Riviera – via Burgundy, Beaujolais and Provence – in stunning vintage vehicles, taking in epicurean experiences created by renowned chefs along the way.

That’s the experience we’ve arranged for 10 couples who love enjoying wine and culture, as well as incredible food and the most rarefied vehicles on the planet, in the company of like-minded people.

The experience begins, on Tuesday September 3rd, at the ultra-prestigious Ritz Paris on Place Vendôme – once a second home to the illustrious people who the rooms and suites are these days named after, from Coco Chanel to F. Scott Fitzgerald via Marcel Proust.

That evening, participants will enjoy an exclusive experience at the Palace of Versailles with a personal guide taking them to areas that are usually off-limits, followed by a private dinner at ORE restaurant by Alain Ducasse. Day Two will see participants get behind the wheel and head for a tasting and lunch at Château de Meursault in Burgundy; the convoy then proceeds to Beaujolais for a night (including a private dinner experience) at the 1217 restaurant at Château de Bagnols.

On Day Three, after a three-hour road trip to Provence, a private tour and tasting at Château La Coste will be followed by a Michelin star Lunch at Hélène Darroze restaurant at Villa La Coste. The next stint on the road takes participants to Baumanière, les Baux de Provence where a three Michelin star dinner experience will be enjoyed at L’Oustau de Baumanière by Glenn Viel (five-star accommodation comes courtesy of Baumanière, les Baux de Provence).

The old adage has it that it’s all about the journey, not the destination – but with this magical experience, it’s all about both. Arriving in Monaco on the morning of Day Four, participants can opt (for an extra fee) to board Prince Albert’s yacht Tuiga. In the evening, the group will congregate once more for a private three Michelin star dinner experience at Mirazur by Mauro Colagreco hosted by the eponymous chef. This evening session also involves a private meet and greet session with an F1 Legend.

From €33,100 per person in double occupancy and 2 guests per vehicle
