Hôtel Hermitage Monte-Carlo plays host, as The Association Francs de Pied – a truly admirable organisation made up of wine growers who are devoted to cultivating indigenous, non-grafted grape varieties on the terroirs to which they are native – hosts its always exceptional tasting-dinner on 12th November 2024.
Its impossible to overstate the importance of this cause to viticulture’s future. As the expressions on the night will testify, intensity, flavour and aging potential are all bolstered by an emphasis on replanting of native grape varieties (rather than grafting): a process which protects the diversity and authenticity of wine, as well as improving its taste.
Participants who book via this platform will arrive one day early and, on 11th November 2024, have dinner with the organisation’s Chairman, Loïc Pasquet – the pioneer behind Liber Pater, aka the most expensive wine in the world – then join Loïc once again the next day, along with other reputed winemakers who are in the Principality for the event, for a wine masterclass before attending the exceptional dinner in the evening.
